I think a lot of the music on Twoism and High Scores is much more simplistic than their newer material, and not as evolved or compositionally interesting as most of the songs they've released since. I like it, but I think a lot of it is rather boring and repetitive compared to their later releases.

Me for, TCH is thier best work to date but possibly not the best starting point if your new to them.

I think MHTRTC along with Hi-Scores would be ideal.

TCH sounds like a labour of love. Must of been an absolute nightmare to put together...in a good way...

I agree. I love the atmosphere and feel of Twoism (and indeed, the early tapes) but the structure and depth of the tracks doesn't match that of the later releases.

That said, i think the beauty in some of these earlier works lies in their simplicity.

totally agreed!!! i think that,s why the "in a beautiful place out in the country" ep is a perfect next step,simple,beautiful,and more skillfully created,one of my all time faves!
