Boards Of Canada will be DJing on BBC1's Breezeblock, on SEPTEMBER 27TH.
You can hear the show on http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/dance/breezeblock/

Yay.

What's this show like? Do the DJs spin their own stuff with others? Is it exclusively BoC tracks?

Usually, the hosts play their current discoveries, all-time influences, favorite tracks etc...
Björk's two participations were really great, i think BoC will be very interesting!

This is great news!

Is there someone who's going to record this straight from BBC1?

I am, of course. The Breezeblock shows are usually easily found in good quality mp3.

I'm so looking forward hearing it. I hope there won't be problems with my internet connection as it was when Autechre played some time ago...

I honestly don't want to hear their Breezeblock broadcast live on the internet because the quality sucks.
I'll wait patiently untill someone here post a recorded version straight from the radio.

The UK Boccers should take this very personal, it's their duty to provide a good recording for their fellow brothers.

Agreed, I can't wait to hear this... Venetian Snares played some of his unreleased tracks, and a mix of his stuff, and many other artists (Jimmy Edgar) play unreleased tracks, as well as stuff they like

I am REALLY hoping for some exclusive stuff :)

Not sure, but I know someone will get a quality recording of it, as with all breezeblock sets. When there is I will have it immediately and will let you all know!

The broadcast date of this has been changed, but they haven't decided on the new date yet.
