They just started recording for their next album. It will be out in another 3-4 years.

How is this news? It's been said numerous times that BoC do NOT have any input to that myspace site, even though it is technically "official".

As far as I know MDG maintains it, and he has a direct connection with the band, so it can be interpretated as legitimate news.

if they are in their studio now...that means it won't be finished till 2050.

their probably just making a boards of canada version of happy birthday for their mom.

Maybe not 2050, but you're right. If they're still recording things, that's terrible news. No way this album is released in 2010.

F**ks sake! Why all the negativity!?!

Why the assumption it means recording? How about mixing? Or mastering for that matter?!?

Something is happening, almost certainly this year. Have we all become the mirror image of the 21st Century instant society here? Seriously, it'll be ready when it's bloody ready.

I'd be worried if they released something that they rushed - and by rushed, I mean rushed by their standards.
