Interesting yes. The Warp homepage is like a fanfare with no other info. I registered for more news expecting an immediate email, but nothing yet. You get one Novayshun?
An Ending (Ascent) is a track of Beauty and anything with Eno's name on is grand by me. A real coup for Warp I'd say.

Massive news! The only reason he would release on warp is surely out of respect for the label and of course Steve Beckett. He's got class. Can't wait to hear what this might be.

I'd heard a rumor forever ago about a collaboration between Eno and Squarepusher. Don't know if that materialized or not, but I doubt this is it b/c it would be sorta insulting to Pusher to market it this way. I hope it's a brand new album on warp! That would be epic in more ways than one.

What is "Opal"? Is it the album's name?

The connection between the project that Pitchfork is talking about and the Warp announcement is speculation on their part though??
Brian has been known to work on several projects concurrently.

Opal is Eno's imprint label. It's through Warner Bros. I think.

I'll say it then: an Eno/BOC collaboration wouldn't be the worst thing to ever happen.
BOOM, etc.
