Thwead, wise fwom your gwave.

Just footling around on BMI repertoire and I noticed that searching for Orphel Binuswade in Composer brings up Echus.

Don't think that's been noticed before, correct me if I'm wrong!

I'd never seen that list before. I can't help thinking a apart from Cope and Hell Interface that this list is a pisstake by Mike - i notice even the most obscure sounding picks by other artists definitely exist after a cursory google search, clearly he felt it would be amusing to list a bunch of records which either do not exist or are not available to anyone!

I think as far as the titles registered on BMI are concerned, they're all accounted for. IIRC the 4 or so tracks on there that aren't released are edits that wound up used in adverts.

Looking at when Echus was registered on there, the appearance of Orphel Binuswade on the credits is about right with the registration of the NewClearDawn site, and the "now listening" appearance in the magazine. So I'm guessing "Orphel Binuswade" was some hexagon sun in-joke around that time, whatever it might mean, or wherever they pulled it from.

Oh I checked those top tens by BoC and Triad - 17 was there. Triad is Jefferson Airplane¨s track and it the guitar sounds a tad bit like Last Walk Around Mirror Lake guitar but it is not the same sample ( I guess ) . Oh and the track Triad is 17th track on their Journey - a best of compilation from 1996. Plus the cover art of the original album ( Crown of creation ) is very BoCish  Plus check the lyrics too. Heres the youtube link to the track:

And the search for Hollow Tube by Hansel Gyrata lead me to this http://testtube.monocromatica.com/releases/tube077.htm which leads to this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pierre_Schaeffer . Completely irrelevant but interesting find for myself anyways lol.

" The Name Ova is a girl's name . The origin of the baby name Ova is Latin, Danish with the meaning(s) depending on Gender/Origin being

Latin- Egg "

Arkady could be referencing to this fella http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arkady_and ... Strugatsky ?

Also, 'Triad' was written by David Crosby when he was in the Byrds, who recorded the original version for 'The Notorious Byrd Brothers' album in 1967, but it missed the cut due to McGuinn & Hillman being uncomfortable with the lyrical content apparently!! The Byrds version I find superior to the Airplane version. Crosby also does a cracking solo acoustic performance of this on the CSN&Y live album '4 Way Street'. You should check 'em out!!
