Sounds good! But I'd rather have a triple LP vinyl gate fold with a big fold out poster. :D

Not totally irrelevant, I mean nuclear weaponry and energy are both concerns today, but they're not really...I mean, if you're looking for a zeitgeist of any kind for today, you're way off. Then again, maybe that's not what they're going for either.

Also, that New Clear Dawn site could be in connection with one of their (purportedly) myriad other artistic projects, not necessarily BoC!
you make a good point.

i realize this has been discussed previously, but the mystery behind this site intrigues me so much.... i suppose we'll never really know the REAL meaning of this whole New Clear Dawn fiasco/prank. should probably just
let. it. go.
Haven't you just suggested his point is wrong by showing us that you found the site alone interesting? :-)

The interesting thing about a nuclear apocalypse theme would not be the bomb, or the explosion, or even the politics behind it. It would be the eerie inhumanity of it all, the power of mysterious technology over people, and the lure of a world that is unknown to us civilians but has the power to destroy everything. Listen to I Saw Drones. That's what that sort of man-made weirdness sounds like to me. And this is what it looks like:

Anonymous machines of war, production and subterfuge, humming in the night as they listen to you, protect you or kill you. Huge signalling gods.

I'm browsing at 1366 which is the largest resolution my laptop can manage and that really is an inconveniently wide post.

About the nuclear thing, I see your point but it's a matter of taste really, and the nuclear stuff just doesn't hit me. I'm more given that eerie man's-inhumanity-to-man feeling from other things. Stuff like businessmen grinding away in nondescript windowless boxes in corporations with little idea of what impact their collective action has.

You've lost me; your browsers must be doing something wrong because the post is only 890 pixels wide, and the pictures haven't expanded the post width beyond the usual Twoism post size:

I'll space them vertically because of Pete Whinging Alone, though.

To add to the chorus, running Firefox 3.6.something and that post blew up my browser earlier before it was edited, I'm at 1600x1200 here. Thanks for the edit - those are nice pics btw.

What are you talking about? I'd rather worry about when we get some actual news or an announcement. I'm not even worried about when the actual music is released and I'm listening to it, that's probably more than MONTHS away.

...perhaps as a remastered set alongside a new album...but i think i would be slightly disappointed if all this waiting was just for a remastered album on its own...
