I would never expect boc to be at a repHresh party, unless there in the dancefloor giving it all!

Wonder who the guests are? Hopefully AFX

I'm seriously considering flying from Canada to London, partly in order to go to this.

Sorry if you've been asked this before, but what part of Canada are you from?

I'm from Newfoundland. It sucks how separated we are from the rest of Canada.

Does anyone have accommodation recommendations in London? What are the hostels like? Are hotels expensive as fuck?

I'd suggest you find a B&B somewhere out of the way but still within reach of the tube. Hostels are very... variable in quality. It's south of the river so hotels won't be as ridiculously priced as in the center, but they'd still hurt your pockets in comparison.

Edit: ALSO GOT MY TICKET (well the confirmation anyway) HELLS YEAHHH. :D

Edit:...Did rush into that a little bit. If anyone who's going finds a place nearby for cheap, post it up in this thread will you? I'll be sure to do the same. :P

Right, apologies for the double post but I've done some digging: here are the facts, basically.

Last tube from Elephant & Castle is at 00:44, so that rules out getting the tube, right? (What kind of party is it if you're only staying for 2 and a half hours?) Of course taxis are about but unless you're a millionaire, that won't be an option either (post-midnight taxis are ridiculously expensive). This means we'd need to find a place within 10-20 minutes walk.

Now, I'm no country boy, but walking around that London late at night is not something I particularly fancy. If we could organise something on here I wouldn't be beyond sharing a room, even. Would certainly lower the cost.

Anyone heading down have any thoughts on this?

http://www.hostelworld.com/hosteldetail ... directions
Check that out, thats where i plan on staying but i still donno how many of my mates are going. But I Wouldnt Mind Sharing a room with a few twoismers (better than sleeping with sub human scum lol)
but i donno if this place has a certain time you have to be in for.
Gonna look up more about it!

Ah cool, I'd seen that place too. Although thinking about it, isn't this an all-nighter?

7 live acts plus 'special guests' and the DJ - 45 minutes each puts the finish at 4:45 AM. I'd think they'd probably have longer than that each, plus the last one I went to the DJ was on for an hour and a half like a warmup act, you know? Obviously you're coming over from Eire so you need a place but I think I may be able to go without.
