Funny thing about this I still kinda relate this news to the "new boc album in 2010" and "the next album will come as a shock to everyone, no one will expect this from us" (boc quote from the HUMO interview)

Thing is I still hear heavy boc influence in some of the already released VHS Head tracks + the whole concept is totally BoC like... it wouldn't come as a shock to me if we once learn that VHS Head is a side-project of BoC (even though it has already been debunked before)..

As for the boc-connection, I gotta say while I enjoy VHS Head and am impressed by video club, I'll lay my cards on the table and say I don't think it's them at all

Plus, I honestly don't think it'll have anywhere near the same lasting value as anything BOC have done (video club that is, obvs can't say about any forthcoming album, yet).

It isnt boc, I remember somebody claimed to know the guy and told his identity on some blog site or something...maybe he was lying but he sounded pretty convincing

They definitely are not boc indeed, i just wanted to express a FEELING I get when I listen his/their music. To me it sometimes sounds as BoC.

Listened to the whole album, bit annoying having to hit play every 30 seconds but glad I did, album sounds awesome! It's like BoC meets Jackson & His Computer Bands meets Ratatat.

lol, I just did that same thing. I was really getting pissed with the player towards the end, but it was worth it. Album sounds great!
