Thanks for the compliment. I wasn't aware that I hadn't made them downloadable from Soundcloud; I'll sort summat out.Pointsman wrote:just got to say, man, that was nice. can I get my greedy hands on them somewhere?Treefingers wrote:Ah, I see. I was having a mild bugger of a time trying to figure out how to upload a set instead of just one track.
Additionally, here is that set of four tracks.
Feedback is ver. welcome.
was messing about with tape hiss, field recordings and other bits of audio detritus aided by some effects, just as an experiment
i then introduced a simple beat which then needed something else to go with it ... but, i'm not a musician, i know very very little about "how to play" anything
i took a break from this little sketch and watched an origami demonstration, the woman's voice and pronunciation struck me as being suitable to sample
hey presto! a mildly BoC-ish track with a boring beat and childlike unschooled melodies (?)
needs some work in the mix and EQ, apart from that there's little more i can do with it unless i go down the route of educating myself on how to make music properly like a real musician
be warned: it does just plod along, some nice noise in there though
removed / still work in progress / embarrassment

Here is a short sample I recorded of an 8 person choir singing an old song in latin. I was just playing around with it destroying it a little bit. The original sample sounds like it was recorded in a studio, it's quite clear and dry.

Me and a friend (Lemurian Gypsy) are collaborating on a new project we called Duryodhana. This song was made just a few minutes ago and would love opinions or advice. It's incredibly mind fucking, so enter at your own risk

I just finished my first tune in about 2 months due to extreem creative block.
I thought others might like to hear it...

I find this such a soothing and uplifting song,
anyone fancy posting what it reminds the of / makes them think of?
(btw it takes about 1:30 to kick in properly so stick with it

Great chords and melodies! Maybe too much emphasis on the beat but that's just a personal preferencePantheon wrote:I just finished my first tune in about 2 months due to extreem creative block.

Come tomorrow, I'll be lacking in Internet -- so I thought I'd post this.

It's based largely around an attempt at prepared guitar.
