So by this reasoning, if the BoC brothers were to have a side project under an assumed name, it would sound exactly like their material under the BoC name? That makes no sense. I'm sure they are more than capable of coming up with an entirely new sound, were they inclined to do so.

With that said, I doubt VHS Head are related to them.

Well Hell Interface is a BOC side project yes? Sounds kind of the same. And their old MBV style stuff is different, yet the note progressions they used are, well, the same.

Aphex Twin, ALL kinds of aliases and side projects. They all have distinct similarities.

Pinback, each member has several side projects or are in different bands. Yet each have similarities. Some indistinguishable from Pinback.

I could on.

I have found that people inherently have sounds that are most pleasurable to their ears. So they tend to stick with certain ranges and progressions. Its almost like trying to describe how the colour blue looks to me, you see blue, or blue as you know it, but your version of blue is different. But blue to me will always be the way I experience it. I'm not sure if that fits with what I'm getting at.

I don't think you can just fully discard your perspective and approach and become someone totally different coming up with a 100% completely different way of doing something. That is what kind of differentiates us all from one another. however slight it may be.

So in the end, I think there would be some similarity in the music. If not sounds, then in production. There would have to be as it comes from the same source. Or one half of the source.

You mean this one...

Due to a pressing plant error, we have had to recall all Vinyl copies back from distributors.

They arrived on Friday and were shipped immediately to distributors, and Skamshop customers,

the error only became apparent on Friday evening.

Your account has just been refunded for the whole amount.

We know ask that you destroy your copy (we know you won’t do this and can understand completely).

In which case, hopefully you will consider reordering the correct version when it becomes available, but again you are not obliged to do this.

Please accept our sincere apologies. We are working towards a repress as soon as possible.
