Sometimes it seems like the majority of this subforum suffers from a massive folie-a-deux. If someone with a moderate interest in this band would stumble upon this forum for the first time and sees the associations and assumptions made here I wouldn't blame him for thinking that some things seem extremely far-fetched and beyond logic. In general, when people are deprived of (sensory) incentives they start generating their own free-form thoughts and perceptions. Not trying to be clever, but lately the sensory deprivation theory has personally helped me to refrain from making large assumptions and projections. I can see why people are trying to associate special dates with the announcement or release of an album, but the fact that BoC have used symbolism in various ways in the past as the prime parameter of a statistical prediction when the new release is gonna drop is - from my rational perspective - insufficiently convincing.
