I was pretty surprised to stumble across some pretty good Deadmau5 remixes of, you guessed it, Boards of Canada tracks. I did not expect to see that coming but I am kind of enjoying them.

im just expecting a bunch of people to come in here all enraged that he remixed the tracks. im all for it and think they sound pretty cool, but ive noticed ppl on forums tend to get quite worked up about this sort of thing.

it's weird, i never gave deadmau5 much credence before now - i don't know why, but his stuff just kind of went in one ear and out the other. last night a friend of mine linked me to his track Ghosts N Stuff and i was hooked. just like that, now i'm interested. weird.

the roygbiv remix is pretty cool, liking the sounds he using, and that nice bass sound. but wow.... the kiteracer2 rmx is just phenominal!

Eh... not for me. i've never liked his music that much, not to mention he was playing at MTV's Music Awards wearing a giant mouse helmet with LEDs trying to be all "Daft Punkish" while he wasn't even playing any instruments, he was just standing there looking at his laptop. I will say that these remixes are better than his other music.

Very impressed, thanks for sharing these man. I'd have to rate this as the best roygbiv remix I've heard, Alphaquest not included.

I haven't logged in in ages, thought 10/10/10 might have some surprises in store. Guess not

Loving the Kiteracer cover. such a beautiful melody, one of their best IMO.

Roygbiv cover isn't doing much for me but covers of this always leave me cold. Nice bass about a minute in.
