My personal opinions is that it won't just "show up".
Warp knows there's too much money to be made to just go with a quiet release.

Agreed, i think Warp will make a fair song and dance of it when it arrives and i wouldn't blame them. I'd anticipate a fair size promo push, new website etc.

I'm thinking, though i may be wrong, that a new release this year isn't likely since a release around Xmas would see it a bit swamped - perhaps they'd hold back for a Jan/Feb promo push and release? Pure speculation obviously, we'll have to wait and see i guess.

Yeah, I agree. Like MDG (if, of course, he is a reliable source) said, they probably wouldn't wait until just a couple of weeks before a release to announce it, and within 6 weeks, it'll basically be christmas time.

So, here's to 2011?

I'm really trying to not give up hope. The news that a new BoC album would be out this year is what kept me going. Honestly I've been lurking every day on this site for any new news, reading all the bickering of when It'll come out. I've had a count down since 287 days till 2011 and now we only have 80 days till the end.

If this doesn't come through, I can honestly say it will be the biggest disappointment of my life.

A clearance in a wooded area, you startle a deer, it runs into the pines. Vast turquoise lakes and icy rivers, crisp mountain air. A bald eagle soars above. The distant sound of a chainsaw. Redwood smoke

Big +1 to what Dissolved said. Somma yall need to relax. Lots of the silly crap is trolling anyways. MDG hasn't said nothin because there's probably nothing new to say or he's sworn to silence. It's probably both.

What? You want to start on when there'll be new Aphex? Wasn't there supposed to be something out Warp this year?

I Read Aphex twin's new interview and according to the man himself, he has 6 albums in the works.
The longer the wait for this boc album, the better its gonna be (as longs as its out by the end of next year)

Yeah I know, but Richard has such a huge back catalog that I'll still probably be buying albums of his off and on for the next 2 years before I run out of stuff to get
