The both of tracks aren't bringing the IDM idea as the original tracks, who they're very detailed, making the new Remix more modern and not taking the idea of the original tracks; so with those reasons, i don't liked that much.

yeah, I mean these are cool. But no matter how hard you may try, you can not capture the feeling of BoC.. and Deadmau5 didn't do that with these tracks.

I didn't think this warranted a new thread so I figured I'd post it here.

Deadmau5 is on the latest Joe Rogan Experience podcast and he mentions BoC, talking about how he did some covers/remixes for fun as an creative exercise. I wasn't a huge fan of his work but after listening to this podcast I've gained a new appreciation for the guy.

Just thought I'd give you guys a heads up. If you just want to hear him talk about doing remixes for Radiohead and BoC it's around the 1:38:40 second mark.

not to be a douche, but you can't tell me kiteracer 2 has an IDM feel haha. in fact, there isnt much boc that fits into that genre. I could see if kiteracer 2 was just like gantz graf or something but haha

I have no desire to listen to these..simply not a fan. Wasn't aware they'd been around for so long!
