I'm not even going to make a rough estimate when this is done. It's done when it's done and I'll post when it's ready.
No no no I am not talking about a Track listing already, I am talking about who made it on the comp. No order or anything. Just who got accepted. Whatever, it's cool. Take your time with it, peace.
Hmm, you sound like a newbie man. ;)
It's not that I listen to songs and select them already. The mix is a progress where I start with an intro and then try to find my way till the end. The songs that are going to be selected totally depend on the connection between the songs and the flow of the mix. It's a huge challange to find(puzzle) the right flow where as much as possible songs can be added to each other without a break.
All I do now is listen to the songs over and over so I know what I'm dealing with.
So, there is no selection yet, all 72 "songs" are available for the mix until the very last songs is added.

There will be a list when the mix is ready, it will only be a list in no particular order just to verify the spelling. Once OoT is available for purchase and download the tracklist order will be revealed.

It's alright Polar, I only said that because the songs that made it to the comp never were revealed before the mix was finished. Seems like you forgot that.

72 submissions, that's quite a lot.

I propose that a while after OOT has been released we create a topic where every participant can post his material which didn't make it to the album.

Here is a little update.

I've got a pretty solid first part of approx 30 minutes which will most likely be used. I might tweak it a little but I'm pretty comfy with it. I also managed in the last couple of days to extend this to a 60 minutes part. I'm not 100% satisfied with it but it does look promissing though.

Please do curb your enthousiasm as it took me ages with the previous OoT to mix a decent end. I might as well go back to the 30 minutes mark to start again from there if things don't work out as I want them to.

Guido, I looked at it and got actually pretty far but it seems like these services don't deal with independent labels.

I think bicyclekiller said it best.

Aesthetics, I like your method of piecing the compilation together! Sounds like you can get real creative with the vibe and flow of the whole thing.

Awesome. I'll set money aside, and when it comes out I'll buy all of the OoT Volumes on disc.

This makes me happy^

And yes I absolutely can't wait for the new comp.

It is pretty tight that I get just as excited for, say....new Saturday Index or new Boreal Network as I do new Aphex, Radiohead, etc. :)

Oh shit...well then why did I even submit four songs. I swear, my music is a huge fucking waste of time.
