Lemurian hip-hoppy beats were more what I like, but this is not bad.

hmm im intrigued. I def liked his hip hop beat type stuff on Lemurian too (he kicks FlyLo's ass at his own game!), but being a techno/dance music producer and fan I might like this even better!

Checkin it out now, thanks for the tip

hmm...moon beam is pretty cool, but

This whole album is very original and very well produced, however- I didn't really enjoy any of it :/

I guess 'Lone' will forever be associated with his Lemurian type work in my mind. I can't really get into this at all. It's not the old Lone, and it's not anything that I would classify as 'detroit techno'.

Again, gotta give props for originality and production skills, but this one just isn't for me. I'm curious how the rest of you like this one since most of ya'll don't listen to house/techno

Im with you on this one Phasen, I just cant get into this release. His ultra compressed pad sound just doesnt transfer uptempo. Still though, I love his other work.

I agree. There was something in Lemurian that touched me very deeply and moved me in a way where every next track that I would play for the first time, was like an ecstatic rush pushing me into higher and higher mindstates (I was able to write what I consider some of my best poetry while listening to Lemurian).

This is incredibly fresh, I'm enjoying every second of it. Its exciting to see an artist explore new territory with such precise cue and execution. Great texture. The production over all is real nice and tight. The arrangements drift more musically, which is a nice contrast to the more repetitive hip-hop stuff. I can smell the surf just as poignantly as I did with Lemurian. Keep kicking ass Lone and good luck with your label.

Sounds very good. I also like his Once In A While 12" ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cy-7LIxvygw, the beginning is pretty BoC-like ).

I really like the album but I'm not sure why people are so hyped on the Moon Beam Harp track...doesn't really stand out to me.

Also, detroit techno? Really?
