So whats your top 5 Gamecube game then?

So seeing as the old topic of a Turquise hex sun showing up in Metroid, and now RE4 hex at the door (which I ment to mention like months ago and thought it was kinda funny too) in the BoC subforum I though I would ask you guys what is your top 5 Gamecube game ever? I love my Gamecube but I lost a lot of games a while back and I'm now building them back up.

So my Fav Gamecube games are:

1) Resident Evil 4, I just fcuking love this game. PLAYED.TO.DEATH!

2) Mario Sunshine!, Prob one of thee best Mario games.

3) Zelda Wind Waker, I only got into this yesterday and I just cant put it down!
3.5) Zelda OoT, I have the ltd edition WW and this is with it, never played it and want to play it before 3DS comes out with it. So I'm putting it in here as I feel I am going to love it too.

4) Luigis Mansion. Just too short!

5) Metroid 1 +2, I must play them properly some day but brilliant none the less.

Also I just got a sweet gold controller from Game at the weekend. Only €13!

I know the PS2 had a lot of good/great games, but Ninty always have a way of making their games that little bit more intimate/epic/mine...

So whats your top 5?

Well I'd have to say:

1. Resident Evil 4
2. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (actually played it before I got the Wii lol.)
3. Animal Crossing
4. Metroid Prime and Prime 2: Echoes
5. Super Smash Brothers Melee (Sheik PWNS)

But to be fair there were just sooooo many good games for the ol Gamecube... These are just the ones I played the most.

I always pick a Gamecube game to replay during breaks from classes, I'm currently working my way through Metroid Prime 2.

1. Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door (One of the best video games period)
2. Metroid Prime
3. Wind Waker
4. Metroid Prime 2
5. Super Smash Brothers Melee

1. Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

I know it's for the n64, but there is a Zelda disc for the gamecube which it is on. Ocarina of time is the best game, ever, period!

2: Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
3. Super Smash Brothers Melee (Always played of Link ofcourse, as u can see above)
4. Super Mario Sunshine
5. Resident Evil 4.

Haven't played Windwaker yet, it would probably be 1, 2 or 3 because I'm a huge Zelda fan. Come to think of it, I'm gonna replay OoT again. Just need to get the controllers at my brothers house, and then I will play it everytime I wake up hungover again. Looking forward to it already.

I wish I had a gamecube, I didn't have time to console game back then when it was new. =\

Are they fairly cheap/easy to find these days? (don't want to bother w/ emulator)

YESSS!!!!!! Eternal darkness is one of the most underrated games of all time, no shit! Say goodbye to "kooky" zombie scares fa sho maing!
I really loved the reissue of OoT for the GC... And the Sims for GC was really superb!

Pikmin, as well as the sequel was very awesome.

I never got the chance to play ikaruga, but not for lack of trying to find it!! I searched for a couple of months trying to find it but nowhere in my area carried it. I always did love those old school shooter type games!

I had this but I stupidly sold it on during the summer, kicking myself for that. Accually sold nearly all my gamecube games because i wasnt playing it at all. I learnt my lesson and buying all the games back along with Zelda collectors edition, SSBB, Starfox, Soul Calibur 2, SSX Tricky(played that game to death too) Mario Kart DD etc, had a shit load of games! Sure, my bills are paid now but the games are gone :-(

I got mine on Amazon last year for €20, check on ebay too, loads there. Dont get a Emulator unless your PC is uber fast/strong!

My next investment for the the GCN is Zelda TP, but it goes for crazy money here, between €50-€100 a pop! Like there is loads of copys for the GCN around, its just idiots keeping the price that high, but i have heard the game is epic and i want to play it on its own console not a port on the wii. I'll play Skyward Sword on the Wii next year.

It plays fine solo. That was how I played through it. Well worth getting, particularly if you love the Link To The Past style gameplay (LTTP was the first Zelda I played).

I have never gotten to the end of a Zelda game, but thats going to change right now! haha, I will finish WW first and I will go back to LttP again and finish it too.
Zelda is just the tits, Ninty did good with Zelda! Did you see Scott Pilgrim yet...?
