Check 'em out. They're older songs, but I remastered them so they sound a bit better. They're called "I Found Twelve", "Different Me's", and "Lines Above".

All wonderful tracks, ever considered sending a demo to a label?

I've considered sending a demo to Skam, Archaic Horizon, or even Twoism Records could host an ep or album of mine. But I want to have some fresh new songs to send, and I'm in a slump right now. I'm hoping to come out of it soon. And I want some more hardware. I've only got one keyboard, a guitar, and a Digitech RP80.

That's some good advice. I used to go by the title IEC, which stands for Independent Equational Consciousness. It was based on a theory that I thought of in High School. It's basically about how our brains perceive the world around us.

So maybe I'll go back to IEC. 747Music was just a project name anyways.

Put up 2 more songs. "And Up We Go" and "Taking The Next Step". They are to be played in that order.
And up we go is a BoCish song, and taking the next step is more ambient... like... a lot more ambient.

Added another one. It's called "Way Out There". I sampled A Moment Of Clarity by BoC in it.

Seems like I'm back on track and out of the long slump I was in. I love messing around with sounds. I forgot how fun it can be.

Way Out There: The sample for Moment of Clarity kind of seemed just layered over the top of the track, but the second half with the vocals and the interesting sounds was much more better than the first. Should have expanded that bit and made it the full song.

And Up We Go: The start rhythms are nice. And even though I think the reverse beat thing has been done, you incorporated it well into the track. Reminds me of a slower version of Nlogax. Wish something a little more happened in it though.

Taking the Next Step: This felt like a spiritual brother to Lines Above, which felt like a minimalist Brian Eno compisition that you'd find on something like On Land or Apollo: Atmospheres and Soundtracks. Really nice use of building up and coming down, felt like the track was moving and evolving. The atmosphere you created is amazing, really creepy and isolated. Maybe could have used something else going on, but if something was added, it might have killed the whole feel it had going. This was the best of the three by far.

Thanks for the listen and the words. And yeah The Moment of Clarity sample I admit was just lazily plopped on top of the rest of the song. As for And Up We Go, the percussion was sampled right from nlogax, with a little bit of tampering to make it slower and more defined. You got the nail dead on. And again you were right with Taking The Next Step, I didn't want to add anything out of fear of ruining the feel it currently had. Thanks for the kind words on that track too. I'm definitely glad you enjoyed it.
