sorry i have dragged this thing out. this week has been busy...and i have had NO time!...i promise i will upload pics and the mp3s tonight so you guys can hear how similiar they are...well back to work...

by the way the remix just kind of shows how the counting could be manipulated and tweaked to get the sound they did....

w00t....thats so cool.I like to mess with toy`s 2...I have a little toy guitar (3 bucks) witch I manipulated so it sounded like a chinese chord :shock:

Also a little keyboard with a standart "square" sound....very fun..I can play alpha rainbow on it. :D

Just a thought...

Whoever is broadcasting those number stations could be using little more than a toy (or the chipset from a toy) to produce the spoken numbers. Something like that and a shortwave transmitter would be all you'd need, I guess.

Where was the toy manufactured?

i want to say china...i am at work right now and dont have it...so dont quote me on that just yet...when i get out of here i was post some pics of it...

I was the one who posited the idea of it being Mercury Rising to Fredd. I'm probably only 80% sure about that really but I still think it's closer to Gyroscope than this. T'scool though.

i havent heard the clips from mercury rising...i have only heard the conet project cd's and of course this...i dont know where the real samples come from...this one is just hauntingly close for being something i just stumbled across...
