What if the new album is merely a concept, and the real song is the sound of our tears, and they knew this already so in reality, we already have the new album. It's welling up in our eyes.

FACT... the emotional depth contained in BoC fans is GREATER than the emotional depth contained in a musical record created by BoC. The beauty lives in YOU!!!!! but they'll never believe me....

The album has already been released. But in our minds, we've become so accustomed of their being no Boards over the years that we ignored the release and our brain censors everything consisting of the new BoC album (Excluding speculation.)
Everyone else is enjoying the album except us. Deal with it.

Some people are going on about an apocalyptic theme and something to do with the future. Then some people have said that would be a change of direction... I suppose it would but there is one track they've done that falls right into that category...

Yeah but that's a fan-made video. The nuclear imagery used for that video is the only evidence we have that it follows a apocalyptic feel.
And anyway, creating an apocalyptic themed album in a world where everyone thinks the world is ending doesn't feel right. The fact that they brought about the whole nostalgia-tinged scratchy synthy texture to music in a world of electronic dance is utterly refreshing. It just seems too particular
i think the theme for new material (if there has to be a theme?) should be about disconnecting entirely from the trappings of modern day culture/society,escapism,switching off,i think this would appeal most to me,and i don,t think mike and marcus would find it too hard to relate to this idea!!!
