i like mhtrtc better. i admire and enjoy a lot of things about geo, but sometimes all i can do is roll my eyes at how insistent geo fans can get. funny how an album (or anything) can blow some person's mind into hyperspace where others find it 'eh'. opinions are neat.

Yeh, Geogaddi is genius...but I really like The Campfire Headphase, maybe a tad more. But Geogaddi=awesomeness without a doubt. Very deep.

Really Always liked Campfire Headphase myself. Geogaddi is defenitely an Uber-album but I find myself listening to Campfire the most.

listening to this record again for the first time in AGES. i can only appreciate it in between long spans of time because i'm not as crazy about it as a lot of diehard geo-fans, but every great once in a while... it's nice to just go back inside and remind myself what it's like.

I can't choose between the 3. It changes from time to time. I would say though, that currently it is Geo.

Hm....I find myself feeling the opposite of a lot of people here. I like just about every track on Geogaddi and it is my favorite by far. MHTRTC has some of my favorite songs but I have to admit most of the songs on it I don't listen to very often. The songs I mainly listen to from it are Aquarius, Happy Cycling, Telephasic Workshop, Turquoise Hexagon Sun, and Sixtyten. Whereas with Geogaddi, I listen to almost all of the songs all the time. Although lately I've been listening to their old stuff from A Few Old Tunes, Old Tunes Vol. 2, and the random 35 tracks more than anything else.....

There's just so much BoC out there, it's hard to pick favourites. Everyone has their own opinions. I'd like new material more than anything in the world (almost).

I've always thought that Geogaddi works best as an album played all in one go in it's correct order, that way it's like some deranged journey through purgatory or something 8)
MHTRTC is equally fantastic but I think it's better as a collection of songs rather than as a cohesive album. TCH is also a fantastic album to listen to in one go, but in a very different context, perhaps to soundtrack some summer roadtrip/long journey by car...

The poll doesn't ask if Geogaddi is the best Boards album. It just asks if it is the best album ever. Either way it is neither. There are plenty of better albums out there in general and even a few better Boards albums specifically. It is a great album but just not the best album ever.

Geogaddi, Campfire Headphase and the Beautiful Place EP are pretty much equally awesome in my mind.

Geogaddi is definitely their most "structured" lp. It's one hell of a journey alright.

Geogaddi is Boards of Canada's 'Dark Side Of The Moon', imo.

Has always been my favorite.

Thats a great way of putting it,i'm now playing this again, theres something about this album,it worms it's way into you,if it wasn't for that torrent file a few years ago i doubt i would of found Boc ;'( I think when the duo made this, they were spaced out lol
In my top 10 off all time forsure, and yes id agree the BEST!!
