The boxset looks cracking... I'm a bit strapped for cash just now so only ordered the MP3s. I might buy the boxset at a later date. I have the one for In Rainbows, it's really nice too.

Am I just really old-fashioned in wanting a cd?

Exciting, but i am also cautious about this one. Seems to be Radiohead are perhaps seeking pastures new after this record, possibly each going their separate ways?

Nevertheless i am excited and i want but cannot afford the Vinyl :(

That's a pretty cool little package for that price. Might have to invest, even if I'm beyond my Radiohead fanboy days.

Hoping Warp stick to a similar price point whenever the new BOC lands. Mind you, who's to say what form of currency we'll be using in the year 2027...

BOC probably waited for Radiohead to put their album out first and let the hysteria die down, so that they can have peoples undivided attention.

What's made you think that? I've always been under the impression that they felt more together now than ever.

Yeah I'm not too sure where you're coming from there either, I certainly haven't heard anything... I think they know how well they work together.. there'd be no point in splitting just yet..

I'd be very surprised if they split up at this point!
It seems to me, that they've worked out their issues with creating a record, and are doing better than ever.

Ridiculously excited about the new record. Some commentators are making out that the lack of an honesty box system that they had for In Rainbows is some sort of backdown by the band, which seems crazy when they are still making a mockery of the major record labels by getting out there a mere 5 days after announcing that it even exists. No preview clips, no definite song titles... I'll be waking up on Saturday like a kid on Christmas morning. :D

Like others here, I can't see them splitting up anytime soon. They are friends who can make records when and how they want, and have the freedom to do whatever they wish outside the band. A perfect setup...

Yeah, I gotta say, going over all their live songs and trying to place bets on what would make the album (Keep in mind that some off of In Rainbows were as old as the nineties), watching a crapload of live performances...man what a relief that they finally are releasing it.

Totally jazzed about all this. :]
I'm a man that does not strive for a certain genre, in his music. Ugliness among beauty. Or is the other way, around? Maybe just all ugly.
