There's a special place in my heart for subtle jazzy hiphop, I decided to have a go instrumentally:

It's been a long while since I've posted in here, but I do still drop in from time to time to see if there's any update regarding you know what.

Anyway, I've just completed an album that's available for free download that I think some you might like. It's experimental downtempo with an IDMish spin.

Rather than just jump in and post the link, I thought it would be more polite to ask first.

I don't want it to seem like I'm just spamming, and maybe this isn't the correct place :)

Well although it certainly wasn't my intention the new album has already, drawn comparisons with BoC, so in case anyone's interested here's the download page at Fwonk netlabel:

Hope I'm not being out of order posting that here, but it is free, and it is only just finished.

Nice.

EDIT: "Through Those Oceans" is a lovely track as well. Enjoying your netlabel release.

Kind of reminds me of Massive Attack's "Black Milk" just because of how that sparse beginning faded it's way into the track and remains constant through it's entirety. I like it!

I can't remember the name of it, but it's only available for Windows users which pisses me off because I have a mac. (Technically I have a nice HP laptop, but it's so old that it takes forever to boot up and function correctly.)

I just finished a song I called 'Red River'. I'm pretty happy with the results. I used the percussion from 'Red Moss' by Boards of Canada. Give it a listen, see if you like it.

Trills - Zero-Gemini
Taken from the upcoming LP "Blue Metabolic Sunrise". It is a one-shot improvised piece on the Korg DW-8000.

Had a listen to that jonnyjj74. Very nice atmospherics accompanying a vibey almost arpeggiated sound.
Real nice, gentle, and ambient.

Thanks for listening to my album by the way. Glad you liked it :)

I enjoyed that. Had a listen, then listened to some of your others which were also good.

Well I recorded some e-piano melodies while ago and decided to slow just one tiny sample of those recordings with paulstretch and filtered + reverbed it. Then slapped an very very low murmuring filtered organhummline there and distorted and filtered kicks here and there. Threw a few samples made by our cat there too! Thats what I did. The tune is under construction since it's getting a bit more clear melody too.
