Nah, there's surely more than ice cubes! That's why waiting is frustrating. Our expectations are heightened. Personally, I couldn't be bothered getting frustrated, it will come when it comes. I'm not going to sit over the proverbial pot and swear at it

"the bassoon is such a particular instrument, with such a unique sound, I don't think that they'll ever approximate it, certainly not in my life time."

I suppose thats good news for all you bassoonists out there, don't go throwing away your bassoons just yet"

I could not contain myself for a few minutes after this skit.

Oh yea... BoC news... i am giddy like a school girl!!

ok I'm gettin pretty excited.
I was part of a listening party to both Geogaddi and MHTRTC, made me see why I fell in love with them in the first place.

Greetings all, long time lurker, first time poster.

Given recent 'box' related developments, news regarding a release could well be imminent. As such I'm getting ahead of the game and calling the release date right now (using some pretty hardcore analysis here ) : MAY 17. A piece of free boc memorabilia if I'm right? :D

Seriously though, Warp's got Bibio lined up for March, Prefuse lined up for April, Battles lined up for June, and... nothing as of yet for May. (Aphex in Q4 supposedly?)

P.S. Also predicting that one of the track titles will have the word 'stratified' in it

For a band that releases music so rarely, it would seem to me the only way to release this album without it leaking is to pull a Radiohead and give a week's notice at most.

That's not possible. Radiohead aren't on a label whereas BoC are.

I often thought that the new BoC album would just "appear" in the record shop. It's beginning to look more and more less likely that will happen now what with the cool black box on their website....
