Hi! I'm new. I bet there's already a SeeyaLater on the forum, but oh well... I almost called myself I'llbegoneaboutaweek but that was too long.

Anyway, it's funny, I usually check for new BoC news bi-monthly, and it was pretty sweet that I checked on the day that the box materialized.

What direction do you think this album will take? Do you think they'll continue what TCHP started? Or a return to form? Or carve out some new territory?

I kinda hope it's got new occult secrets and more numerology stuff, because Geogaddi was like a fun creepy puzzle. However I feel like that was a phase they might have grown out of, but I LOVED it, no other band could get that formula right if they tried.
I bought TCHP day one, and plan to do the same with this one.
I kinda want to hear a new direction though.

It'll probably defy any and all of our expectations. I somehow doubt it'll sound like one of their earlier releases; much like Geogaddi was a change from MHTRTC, and TCH was another change from that.

I'm willing to follow wherever they want to take me; I trust the music will be good :)

Hmm... I'll bet people will dislike it at first then, but it will grow on them, as usual. We really have no indication of how they've changed since TCHP.
My mind tingles, imagining their hoard of unreleased material, like all the tracks they shaved off of Geogaddi.

Here's something I noticed about the box: When you click it it turns black because the white square in it disappears, none of the other cover pictures disappear when clicked. Probably insignificant.

I hope you're right. I always find that the albums I hate at first, but then unfurl themselves to me later if I'm patient - those are the ones that stay with me and become classics. The albums that give away all their secrets on the first play, those I tend to tire of much too quickly.

And welcome by the way :D

I can't wait for this to be much more real and much less photo-shopped.

The new album should be available as vinyl. It is a shame if it is not :? And thanks for making my day a bit happier with those funny photoshopped pics!

Also I think this art is better than the quadrange ep art.

they are slightly changing it
now if you scroll over it the box changes to white.

But I guess WARP has to announce it first, bah
I still think the info will be dropped before April

Looks like they updated it to be the same as the other boxes. The other ones turn to white but the album art is just covering it up.

At least we know it was a conscious thing, if they're actively making changes to the box. Instead of simply just taking it down. I've just been skeptic that they were simply making the page symmetrical, but you'd think if that was the case, then they would've done that a while ago.
I think if a box had appeared to make it asymmetrical, then I'd be more excited.
