Very interesting. Who the fuck knows. All I know is I can't stop bumping it and smiling
Yeah it use to be called "Taking Off and Landing", the track samples Golden Girls Kinetic and the sample couldn't get cleared so it became a remix......it's a big track! Sounds great in a club!!
Hope he reverts back someday to his hip-hop / chill roots.
I kinda feel the same way. BUT I do also love this new vibe too!
I remember him telling us that he's thinking about releasing some of his old/ early tunes. I hope he will (soon).
Back then, I was so on his myspace everyday to see if there was new Lone stuff. Lot's of unreleased stuff on there was solid gold!
True , this new stuff is good but mostly for dancing/clubs. I don't see myself actually listening to it a lot.
His next material better not have any 808 samples anymore, he's been using those for every track lately.
speaking of lone's old material... I have several of his old tracks that are just awesome; crimson drank, fly fire rainbow and some other ones that I ripped off of myspace. too bad those aren't being released. if they were, I'd bite

any chance I could get them old tracks, loved lemurian and the old kids in tracksuits stuff, there was a great track called 'Get Notes' not sure if thats the real name or whatever, it hard to find much KIT. I met Matt Cutler when he played in bristol, like 2009, he was a nice guy. his music is awesome.
I thought there was a slim chance of finding it, but the VU US website still has the everything is changing colour cd for sale, if people are looking to get a physical copy
Only just got round to listening to Emerald Fantasy Tracks. Wonderful stuff! I never gave Lone enough credit really, didn't click with me to begin with. Can't wait for the summer so I can really appreciate this album!
I love everything by Lone and Kona Triangle, but to this day, Kona's "Air Lock" is unbeaten in my book. They hit a perfect sound there. A relentless yet chill wave-crashing hip-hop, like being inside a massive wave just before it collapses... for 4 minutes.

I didn't know Kona Triangle exists. Now I do. Thank you.
