5.1 Albums

Post by Nonsuch »

Can anyone recommend albums recorded in 5.1?

I can think of Tipper and Amon Tobin off the top off my head - would be great to find a load more!

Cheers,

Tom

There were 5.1 mixes of Yoshimi and The Soft Bulletin too (which I bought). I think there's one for At War With The Mystics, but that LP is so compressed that I didn't bother.

never tried these. is it a really different experience than regular stereo? i wish there was an official band-made 5.1 mix of zaireeka, it's their songwriting peak buried under all the 'it's about the experience' craptalk. silly band. and mystics is pretty unlistenable, indeed.

Trust me, it is way better! If only Boc would do it! You've watched a movie in stereo and then watch it in 5.1 you feel it! same with the music your more immersed.

I saw it in a store. I think it's made of white plastic.
