Maybe it was a limited 500 to the people who preordered Geogaddi. Warp probably gave the desgin to that company, and now they are making more in Japan. When things are imported, they make a lot more money. It comes with a Warp sticker and everything. I doubt they are bootlegging them, considering that website sells a lot of Warp Albums.

On the Warp site they have a link for http://www.kaleidoscopeheaven.org/

Which is linked to this: http://jfarnsworth.com/

I bet they are the ones who made he Geogaddi Kaleidoscope for Warp. So you know they still have the designs and templates laying around. I bet they make em for Japan still.

Maybe you can e-mail that guy and ask him if they made em? They might be a little cheaper.

Just a thought, not 100% sure.
My previous post may be disreguarded because this is a good point as well.

Sorry for the double post, polar skies last post wasnt on the page when I last saw it.

ltd of 500.

now that could have been 500 for the site and a few 100 sent out to the world market.
I think thats fairly accurate, unless warp themselves didn't sell 500, but maybe 300 or 400 of the 500 made and distributed the rest to subordinate warp stores (to a degree). I say that because when I recieved my package in the mail from beatnik it came with warp promo stuff (warp tour stickers and whatnot), so its basically just a JP only warp store. So of the say 500 made (if thats the case) the only available ones anymore are on this website, because I suppose the kaleidoscopes didn't go over to well in japan.
Now theres a chance that more than 500 were made, but mine looks like its straight from warp themselves, just with the beatnik store address on the package. (my point in stating that is just to support what I previously said about warp not selling the full 500 themselves from their main site, but distributing some of those and selling the rest on it)

I hope that made sense.

Yeah that makes sense. I'd say if you got the sticker too it's more than likely legit. When I said 'bootleg' I didn't mean some kids in their basement making them. I meant the original manufacturer. See this a whole lot in the bike industry.

You never know then. But all I know is I went to buy it online Beatnik (or whatever that site is) and it came out to $85.00. Man thats a lot of money for something that might not be orignal... But I know I will buy it sometime this year... haha.
