There is going to be one, they did the same thing last time. BoC is not that cruel, they wouldn't dangle something like this in front of people like us. They're probably reading all of this right now, and laughing their arses off at it!

Yeah I agree. They must think we are nothing but little children, getting all petty because of no new album yet.
I'm waiting patiently. There is lots of other music that we can be distracted by while we are waiting.

there was an update stating that they were in the studio a few months back also.

Well, you never know. They could just be obsessed with symmetry. The missing box could have been bugging them. It could mean that they are planning to put an album there, but not for a long, long time.

But I have hope that a release is coming in the near future.

Details so far:

BoC is doing exactly what they were doing for The Campfire Headphase. Posted a blank box and waiting six weeks or so to give real information.

They have updated their myspace status, as well as the "Last Log In" section stated they were logged in yesterday. And I haven't seen a few of those pictures before.
