Slow This Bird Down was one of the first songs I heard by them that got me into them. I don't think I've ever seen anyone mention it on this forum....kinda disappointing.

It's not my favorite track by any means, but when I was a freshman in college I used to wake up to Dawn Chorus every morning as my alarm clock, and it just gave the whole morning process/walk to class, the most ethereal feeling that lingered with my long after I had hit snooze and stopped the song from playing. Five years later I can still think back and feel exactly like I did then when I hear it.

I guess that's more of a brainfuck than an eargasm, but noteworthy.

XYZ hit me pretty hard the other day. That intro is just so fucking dark and awesome.

I was also going to mention Poppy Seed Reprise, but Seeya beat me to it. Probably the "happiest" BOC song I've ever heard. My go to "get in a good mood" song.

But I guess I'd have to say EYDIAB... The transition from melancholy to simply deep at 1:43 was amazing the first time I heard it. The synths they used in that song, Jeeus!!!! lol.

Yes, especially after John Peel says "this is the last of Boards of Canada for tonight, this is called XYZ". Then the music starts, pure class.

I love when the beat stops at some point during Basefree. And when the man starts speaking in An Eagle in your Mind. Or Dayvan Cowboy yes. Too many of them.

The way the vocals "1969 in the sunshine" are mixed are absolutely brilliant in my opinion. I could listen to that section of the song for hours.

Tears From The Compound Eye is in my top 10 favorite songs of all time. I've cried listening to this.

In a Beautiful Place Out In The Country ranks up there on "tracks I could repeat for hours" - in fact the entire EP does.

"From One Source All Things Depend" isn't an eargasm but it puts a huge smile on my face. Especially the kid that starts screaming about how he could be standing on the table but you can't see him.

From one source all things depend is amazing, that part about him being on the table is good, but the best part (in my opinion) is that god is kinda big and fat
