What's the fuzzy crackly music that plays in the background? Anyone else notice the "It's coming" in the bottom left corner of the reflected campfire image?

"the weird numbers"

Definition: The number n is called a weird number if it is abundant, but it is not the sum of any subset of its proper factors.

First ten: 70, 836, 4030, 5830, 7192, 7912, 9272, 10430, 10570, 10792.

There are 7 weird numbers below 10,000.

Two Questions.

1. Has anyone decided to travel to Scotland even if it is uncertain whether BOC are playing?
2. If YOU crack the code, what will you do with the information? Keep it to yourself, or publicise it?

Yeah. Manchester to Edinburgh is doable. I'm in the south of Ireland so I could get a flight and arrive in about 1hr 45 (availabilty of flights is another matter the closer to travel date). Its a moot point anyway as we are all in the dark anyway still

I should have sorted some camping out or something for that weekend. Finding Boards would be a bonus but if not, a nice camping trip to Scotland would be ace, so the time and travel wouldnt be wasted.

Greetings from Edinburgh! I was hoping by now there might be a bit of a buzz around certain parts of the city - rumours in record shops etc, but haven't heard anything.

If anyone does decide to come, send me a message - I'd be up for a pint with any of the good folk from Twoism if I'm around!

Yeah. A meetup / campming thing would make sense. The thing is i'm a lazy tosser and I need a very very definate motivational spur to get me to do something on my own. BOC live confirmed event would be that spur.

This is crazy cool! i was playing with this site (http://www.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/oswebsite/getamap/) last week, but was using the strings of code too literally to get any results! And that map system was elluding me. Nice lead Mr. Red Moon!

However, I understand the using only numbres from right to left after the decimal point to get a string, but why exclude the '0' between the "n" and "t" ?

Also, is there no use for the decimal points and dashes?

And what becomes of the "left over" letters: h g h m o p h g ? (no real anagram or hidden word)

Wow, this second code truely complicates things more.

Care to play at the wiki as wel,l http://redmoon.stikipad.com/redmooncode ... econd+Code ?

Sorry i dont have time to post there too - but by all means fire it up - i cant remember the logic behind getting that number its a good few weeks ago i worked it out. I only removed the 0 between the NT because OS code starts with NT - interestingly though if you keep the 0 it sais NOT 222 506... so maybe barking up the wrong tree... however i do believe now with the eye code your meant to reverse the main moon code - simply because when you reveres teh whole image to read the eyes - the eyes are looking at the reveresed code

Image

until i work out the eye code i am convinced that is a possible location and on Saturday night will be driving and walking to the lcoation above... i wonder if the eye code is perhaps a time to arrive or somthing.

haha,

I was just writing on the wiki site about this too...

that by reversing the code, it's like it's forcing to realize going right to left on the original... for us "to see." Thus the eyes.

and YES, NOT 222506 got me worried as well...

(please reconsider writing on the wiki site, it's faster and easier to edit the code there. Also teh authors there are also the community here. We'll share the wealth)

Seems simple = we're only almost 1/2 done now! There's still a lot to explain and put to use.

As for that music836 site... how the heck did anyone find it? It kinda feels bogus...
But then again, the whole boc site feels "unofficial" anyways! I'm going to continue to be a interested skeptic with that site.

More fun!

haha, beautiful. I was hoping you would say that... because using that logic, we can apply the suntraction in the second code as well. Only it's firstly more important to decide which direction to read the code, before we remove letters/ numbers from the second code... right?

well let's just run it both fwd and back.

that second line if the second code is a ruff one though. Totaly different. And the G2H2.T 0-N is back again in the 3rd line of the second code in capitals this time.... But why? And for what?
