Minneapolis to Seattle

Post by turquoise70 »

Hey all

I'm feeling kind of crazy and desperate and long story short I'm planning to drive my car with my best friend to Seattle.

I live in Minneapolis.

Has anyone done this trip before? Can anyone recommend any stops? I want to do this the smart way as much as I can, but at the same time, it's going to happen irrespective of whether I plan or not. I'd just like to be prepared if I possibly can. But I'm going out there.

Anyone got any helpful hints to offer?

Nobody say "don't do it". I'm doing it.

I live in Seattle! You should drop me a line when you get here!

edit: I don't have many tips about making the drive UP here, as I just moved here from Texas about four months ago, myself. But, I can definitely show you around once you get here. Huge fan of your music and would love to hangout with someone else who appreciates BoC in the same way.

thanks man. I would love to hang out, provided I have the time - I'm only planning on being there about 3 days probably and I actually have already promised my time to see three of my friends who live out there, so we'll have to see if I have time left over after that!

No dude, I'm going in the second full week of May. Not that I'm trying to shuck you off or anything, it's just that I already promised my time to my three friends there. I just don't think it's likely I'll be able to see anyone else!

Hm, Ive actually done a good amount of this trip, from Seattle to Glacier National Park in Montana. If you have time, you should definitely hit up Glacier. It's beautiful. Pretty boring other than that. Eastern Washington I find fascinating for its absolute lack of anything except wheat and the mighty Columbia. Have a fun trip!

Welp... I'm planning on trying to move to Seattle (again) this summer. In late July.

Anyone from the area want to hook up?

Nerdy transsexual pothead furry music dork seeks chill people to hang with and maybe not feel so alone, Seattle area.
