Bad music thread!

Post by Music is Math »

I'll start this off with these two songs that I made:
http://horsedivorce.bandcamp.com/track/donjuan
http://horsedivorce.bandcamp.com/track/donclusterfuck

No I unfortunately didn't make these songs for fun or to have bad music, this is me trying.
Haha, I was going for a creepy sort of pandemonium; but ended up with garbage.
The second song is a rendition of the first, me trying to make it sound better; then it just sounded waaaay worse.

Definitely have some interesting psychotic atmospheres happening, I like it for what it is =P

I'd honestly keep playing with it. Just don't go crazy like Merzbow

Helios for example not bad but i can't really enjoy any of his tracks. I've listened his whole discography but the real feeling doesn't reach my heart. The same about Flying Lotus... :?
Also have got the same process with Luke Vibert's discography but some of his works really makes me high :)

To each his own of course. I fucking love Helios

I cannot stand to hear more than half a second of Nickelback music, it's just so headache inducing and thinking that people can actually enjoy this mess and have an emotionally capturing experience about hearing some dude make bad cliche lyrics about a breakup just makes me want to piss a kidney stone, crush it, and snort it. I'd never actually do that but the temptation is always there.

Any of the music you hear where it's just blindly strumming the same cord over and over again and then going "Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" is stupid as well. I hear it all the time but I can't think of any specifics.

Rhianna. I can't stand her voice. I literally have to run away from the source whenever I hear it, because it'll get stuck in my head and infect my good spirits for all of eternity if I don't get away from it. I think it's the fact that half of one chorus consists of saying really annoying bouncy words all at the same pitch and then slightly changing the pitch in the last of the 76 or however many words consist of the same repeating chorus in the song.

Mmm I'm gonna go listen to some good music now =)

Same here. His music is definitely good, but it just bores me to tears.

Also indie music in general is bad.

Haha sounds like good ideas! Thanks by the way, I appreciate you actually taking the time to listen. I expected no one to really respond. I'm also glad you saw where I was aiming. :D

Thanks man, it was a weird collaboration between me and my friend Anna. We like to go the silly route, with serious undertones. Haha. 8)

This is awesome, I was getting pretty skeptical about it all. So I'm really happy this is actual not too bad to you guys. Thanks a lot, I expected more criticism than compliments to be honest.

I honestly can't think of anything worse. Except for almost the whole genre of country music...
