MHTRTC is by far their best album. =]
Not by far.

The new album is in a geocache somewhere in Scotland. We have to figure out various clues to find it. Unfortunately, there is only one copy, so I am assuming there is going to be a lot of murder at the cache site.

On a more serious note. It would be fun if the new album was released in a kind of secretive way, with clues eventually leading to a website where you can purchase and download it. :)

They've done that already... It was called the Red Moon Fiasco.

Nah - too obvious. Now, if they were to only PERFORM the record once, then destroy the masters. Now THAT would be hardcore...

I know, but that wasn't for an album, was it?

They did it so well that virtually nobody on the planet figured it out!

If I remember correctly, that happened either right before or right after Trans Canada was released.

Question! What is this at the top of the discog page on the BoC site? http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h137/ ... ta/boc.png
I think that they use this elsewhere, but it doesn't appear anywhere in their site except at the top on the page tab. ??

Ohhh, I figured. I was kind of hoping that it would be their new album art. I have a larger jpg of the picture, and it looks pretty cool. Very mysterious, and it reminds my of the game, Riven, or Myst. Still has the sunny weather of TCH, too.

Oh, I just looked at it and the background was just all black. Apparently it just took REALLY long to load up.

Yeah, Riven-like.

So May 1 is right around the corner... 2 months since the box appeared... Should we get our hopes up?

I'm still sticking to My 70 month theory, making it July 2011 if we count from the release of TCH (last full album release).

I'd be happy to be wrong, which I surely am! ;)

Given that June 9th is exactly 100 days from March 1st, it's plausible that they might try a gimmicky release date.
