Most girls who post in electronic music places keep it downlow or just are ready to handle playing along in the boys sandbox. We can take it. But really I don't think anyone can seriously ask why women don't post in these places more often after reading this thread. But on a more serious note.. yeah breasts. They're awesome. I don't know anyone who doesn't like em.. including straight girls and gay boys. We should all be forced to look at them for 15 minutes a day. It lowers blood pressure. I'm positive it has to do with a deep subconscious aspect of our infancy, they are food, warmth, love, and a circle within a circle, the golden ratio. I'm convinced if they had pictures of breasts and kittens up all over the UN world peace would ensue. Looking at them just makes you not want to kill things.

When I come around, I once again find myself beginning another relationship with a girl, which is right where I'm at now, only this time I don't want social status, others opinions, my own personal rules and regulations, and the possibility of sex to interfere with developing a friendship first. I've seen all of the perils of letting these things get in the way.
Oddly enough, right before I met this girl I decided for the first time that it might be best to get an unbiased opinion and see if maybe there was something I've been doing to prevent a relationship from starting in my past, so I decided to see a therapist and my first appointment is Thursday.
I want to do things differently this time and try as I might, I will.
Even if I totally agree with you I can also feel that we make our self more vulnerable then we really are..? I don't think that is weird (and even if I did to hell with me ya know) but I think my point wasn't really about them being sexualized as much as what they represent. I was being a bit cheeky is all. And there really was a health study done with men with high blood pressure and looking at breasts for a certain period everyday lowered their blood pressure. I thought that was funny but interesting. I have guy friends who are gay that totally love the look of them but clearly don't sexualize them. And I've had a few straight women tell me the same.. oh yeah I love looking at em.. blah blah blah. I think that is funny too and I can only attribute it to something that comes from a place of our infancy. My undergrad work was as an American Studies major with an emphasis on gender. Actually my focus and thesis was on men's studies. I took some shit for that as a lesbian. I teach in a masters program now for Acupuncture. I actually do maintain there are some differences between the genders but honestly they aren't that great or significant as 'culture' would have us believe. The differences between us as individuals is far greater than any difference between us as gendered people. We hurt, we love, we laugh and we die. There are cultured expectations about how we are supposed to express those things.
This thread isn't that bad as far as these things go but there are moments when it isn't that hot either. I certainly can run with the jokes, I like guy humour a lot, but that isn't what I'm talking about. And certainly telling the butt of one's comments that they need to get over it or are being too sensitive or that hey its just a joke what is wrong with YOU is all too common and dismissive of what it is to be on the receiving end. I'm not an overtly PC person either.

For whatever it's worth, I completely agree. I've never been enamored with most of the male archetypes I'm offered as an American guy. I've never felt like the word "man" describes me, and I've outgrown "boy". To me, a man is ... a big, heavy thing, all shoulders and neck, with a big head full of thoughts about dicks going in stuff. I'm a pencil-necked goofball with an occasionally limp wrist who takes pictures of himself wearing skirts. I don't feel like "straight" or "gay" or "bisexual" or "asexual" explain me.
