The Death of Bin Laden
Osama Bin Laden has been killed. America has custody of his body.
On May 1, 2011, it was reported that bin Laden was killed during a U.S. military action.[140] DNA from bin Laden's body, compared with DNA samples on record from his dead sister, confirmed bin Laden's identity. The body was recovered by the US military and is currently in its custody.[141]
On this same day, at 23:40 pm EDT, President Obama addressed the nation affirming earlier confirmation by US officials that Osama bin Laden had been killed in a covert operation in Abbottabad, Pakistan, 150km north of Islamabad.[141] Obama indicated this was done by a small team that acted on his orders on that date

To those who are new(er), please read the rules, and use the search function. Most of you have very constructive things to say that could very well be interesting and new, but let's not create new threads, eh? Aesthetics is already up to his neck in storage space issues, let's not make it worse.

Eh, quickly buried at sea? Thats seems like a mighty strange thing to do.http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2011/05/01/national/main20058777.shtml wrote:...was killed in a firefight with elite American forces Monday, then quickly buried at sea in a stunning finale to a furtive decade on the run.

I would have preferred that he will have been judged, like Hitler. Not because they are the same for me, but when man act like them they have to explain herself and to be humiliate far away from their ego.
After that yeah we can talk about the fact that a lot of "respectable" presidents or government peoples from what we call democratic country, have killed and destroyed innocents in war and attack, the CIA outlaw plane fly in Europe and their secret jails, Guantanamo, the commercial company influences on those important questions for money, etc... But that will always exist in our modern politic world.
And we can also said (and hope) that there are also great people in those processus, people who really want to help Irakian or the democracy spread, not for economic interest or for populism or to mainten the US world influence and positions...
That's a little bit odd to know that bad guy number one is now dead after all those deads and that dark way he turn the world with 9/11, maybe we will now have aliens for enemy in action movie (like in the 90's).
