I'm gonna say no, but there #3 after Pink Floyd and Explosions in the Sky. All three of them take me on a journey though.

I figured this would be a good place to introduce myself. Sup dudes!

Said on the first page they are one of my many favorites. Here are a few other favorites in no real order:

Autechre (I can safely say they are my favorite electronic music, period)
BoC (mostly for Geogaddi)
Mastodon
Opeth

I am really thinking I shouldn't care for BoC that much because all I really like is Geogaddi.

Currently yes they are, but not always have been.

Nice, they're really good, too. I find that a lot of people that like BoC also have a soft spot for post-rock. I'm seeing a lotta talk about EITS and Sigur Ros, etc, and I agree that those bands are all very very good. My post-rock leanings are toward Mogwai and EITS, and towards "post-metal" like Pelican and, to a certain degree, Isis. (I know, they are more atmo-sludge)
I'm a man that does not strive for a certain genre, in his music. Ugliness among beauty. Or is the other way, around? Maybe just all ugly.

I would have to say BoC are my favorite artists but I would not consider them a 'band'. I said yes in the poll anyway.

Radiohead is my favorite traditional band, and the probably the only band I do like. Even though Radiohead are artists as well, this is how I differentiate the two, because they both have had a profound impact on my life. It should be said that I do appreciate Radiohead's more experimental stuff far more than their earlier, more traditional rock pieces.

No other musical artists comes anywhere close to these two for me.
