Ren and Stimpy - a cartoon of my ages but i didn't saw it when i was a child. Only Internet let me watch this awesome show ) I still didn't saw all episodes but the most epic scene for me is - "What do you mean you dont agree with me? Do you know whom you dealing with?"

LOVE Ren and Stimpy. Huge part of my formative years.

I'm making an executive decision right now: I will enjoy this thread and its memories for as long as I can before it inevitably devolves into a discussion over whether John K is awesome, a huge tool, or a subtle combination of the two.

I remember watching Ren and Stimpy on TV through the ages of it being rated G, PG, 14+ and then 18+

didn't stop watching it regardless though. Such a great show, reminds me in Spongebob in some aspects with the random high detailed paintings and stuff, those are so great.

Ren and Stimpy. I vaguely remember one episode where they were stuck in another dimension of emptiness or something. It freaked me out, even though i think i was 12 or 13. However, i enjoyed the show and that episode mostly. Does anyone know which episode i'm talking about?

By the way, Waterbagel, this is off-topic, but have the birds in your signature slowed down? Or is it the rosé i'm drinking? I recall them flying much faster. =]

I sort of remember it coming on after the simpsons when i was a kid and it freaking me the fuck out, only remember parts of it but all i remember are my own disturbed versions of it :lol:

I used to watch this all the time. My favorite episode is 'Stimpy's Fan Club'. The part where Ren is in bed and has a total mental breakdown is priceless. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dW3Roqmfr94 It's not in the best quality, but if you can find another way to watch this episode, do it. It has to be the best one.

it's been a long time since i've really seen any ren and stimpy, but i do remember one episode when, at the end, they were like "well, what do we do now?" "i guess all there is to do is spontaneously combust!"

might have been a bit different than that but.. .. it's been a few years!

and, actually, i think they sped up! they used to fly slower..

Lol I always loved this show. When it was in its prime on TV I never got to watch it, however. My parents wouldn't let me

I got to see it some when I got older but by then it was barely on TV anymore. Most of what I've seen was on the internet as well. One thing I did watch, however, was Rocko's Modern Life. That was another awesome show.

I lump RML in with Ren and Stimpy as those over the top super gross cartoons strangely marketed to children in the 90's lol lol, but I really loved that show, too... Heifer was freaking hilarious, the big-heads, too lol lol lol.
My fav character from Ren and Stimpy has to be powdered toast man hahahaha... The episode where (I think it was him) he inspired stimpy to give ren his buttcheeks as pec implants is permanently ingrained in my memory forever!!!!

Now I gotta look up some clips!!

Oh, btw, does anyone remember playing the Ren and Stimpy game for the Genesis? I played it forever lol. The bicycle riding level was the frickin worst

I used to have one of their games for the game boy. It was based on one of their space episodes. I believe the character that inspired Stimpy to give Ren pec implants was called Atlas or something. It wasn't Powedered Toast Man.

Did anyone ever watch the Adult Party Cartoon version of the show that was on Spike TV a few years back? I remember they pushed it to far and took some of the surreal creepiness out of it in favor of them being gay.

Stimpy's Invention was always my favourite. Not just for the 'Happy Happy Joy Joy' song either (although that was some sort of sick genius). Really what's going to top a kid's cartoon about a mind-control helmet?

Mind you... "You got any rubber walrus protectors?"

Somewhere I have a VHS tape of all the episodes of the first two series. No idea where though.

Hahaha, I have a Ren and Stimpy soundtrack on Cassette I just remembered. Bought it in a garage sale a few years back

there were some pretty irritating songs.

This show is a big reason why I am so fucked up now. I used to watch it all the time when I was a kid. Like someone said above; I cannot believe this was marketed as a "children's show". It's a little too twisted and demented for kids, I think.

My favorite has got to be Powdered Toast Man.

and remember, don't whiz on the electric fence!

Oh yeah, Rockos Modern Life, and Ren and Stimpy. Two of my all time favorite childhood cartoons, for sure!
