Merzbow? Anyone?

I am definitely into the Japanoise scene, Merzbow, Aube especially. Any other fans out there on this website?

I have to be in a very specific mood to get into some Merzbow listening-- when I am, dang. It's an explosion of psychosis and uncertainty, very interesting experience every time.

I know his discography is GIGANTIC (lol the merzbox o__O) so the only thing I have in my library is 13 Japanese Birds. I love the drumming he incorporates and the odd lo-fi guitar playing.

Certainly an interesting artist, like him or not

There's a reason he's managed to fill up something like 900 albums in the last 20 years, and it's not because he's a musical genius, IMHO.

He's not for everyone, that's for sure. I am a fan, mostly the really intense work he's done like 1930 and I love Frog+
