That photo is amazing! Is that an Electribe your using? I used to have one myself, ES-1 IIRC. Now I have the synth drum version, I never use it to be honnest.
yeah I've got four that I use between different music projects; the ER1mkII + the EA1mkII are the ones pictured for my band's photo shoot but then I use an ESX-1 and EM-1 as my solo thing.

the samplers are a LOT of fun, I had no idea before I started.

These are the most recent pics. The first shot was taken in my 9x9 studio. It's tiiiight in there. I've got a few pieces of gear that don't even fit in here. The second one is at my birthday party last month.

And 2020k and Krs thanks for being so candid. I'm fairly used to being the only gay in the village, and while not a big deal it gets a bit lonely sometimes

Thank you, I blew a lot on that stuff over the last few years. The studio above is mine the one below with more space and the better set up is my bandmate/cousin's.

I think tools matter but not in the way most people think. It matters more far more what you do with what you've got but you do need the tool to have the essential sound palate you are after. I'm mindful that people like Mux Mool, Toro y Moi and Wisp use extremely stripped down rigs comprising of a crap laptop and FL or Reason.

Seriously of all the stuff I have in there I could probably really get by with the kurzweil, the voyager, eventide, computer, pedals and guitars. And a few of those items take a lot of work to know. I'd rather have synths that sound great with less menu diving from now on which is why I'm hunting for a Juno 60 and a prophet of some type.

I hate to do a shameless plug but I am selling my JD990 w orchestral card and Future Retro Rev2 if anyone is interested.
