Listened to Yonkers couple of days ago and was surprised that it was actually pretty good. Might get around listening to the whole album at some point too. I must admit these kids make some of the best hiphop that's out at the moment.

Definitely not as good as Bastard, not by a long shot.
Too many tracks, maybe if he took out like half the tracks, and edited them down, the album would have been amazing.
Window, Bitch Suck Dick, Au79, Fish and Her are all pretty terrible.
The rest ranges from decent to amazing. The album's just way too scattershot for me to enjoy.
Everyone always complains about Radicals being too long, but I actually enjoy the ending, and it's pretty ambitiously structured for a rap song, only complaint is there's too much reverb on the percussion.

Faves are Yonkers, Sandwitches, She and Nightmare. Goblin, Radicals and Golden are pretty cool too.

But eitherway, EARL is still the strongest Odd Future release to date. :P

after giving this a full listen I'd say I pretty much agree with The Telepathic Kid, quantity over quality, perhaps? still, I will definitely be giving it more than one chance, who knows, it could be a grower...

this is the most un-BoC related music ever, but yeah, its cool. I can't believe Tyler is in NYTimes and shit, I remember downloading Earl's mixtape way back when...yeah I'm cool.

They are all like 19, so that means if he released a mixtape "way back when" he must've been like 12.

Can't stand gimmick rap. Odd Future is bad enough but their fans are some of the worst I have ever came across.

Ha, didn't mean to come off that way. Just saying their rise has been nothing short of meteoric.

Blah. I think rappers should concentrate on making some really good lyrics than trying to make not-funny Bitch Suck Dick-parody stuff. Some of Tyler's stuff is good but..Maybe I have to listen it a bit more... or back to listening Damu The Fudgemunk..and Sean P! I must be too oldskool-head for Wolf Gang stuff I guess..

Agreed. I can't stand this shit. It's Hipster Hip Hop. Hipsters that listen to Sleigh Bells listen to this crap. Not to sound like a fascist but I can not stand the look of these Hipster Hip Hop kids... Looks like they went and stole clothes out of Will Smiths old dressing room on the set of Fresh Prince. It's dorky, and I guess that's what they're going for, but it's lame.

One good thing though, at least he is not rapping about money, bitches and rides. Seems he puts thought into his lyrics.... or not. I'll keep listening to the new Beastie Boys.

I don't know much about these guys. but I like Tyler's tone. I saw that performance they had on Jimmy Fallon and wasn't into it. The only time I was like "cool" was when Mos Def showed up at the end yellin!

I maybe a little to old to get into this. but again, I like Tyler's tone.
