I personally heard from a friend who knows a source that is very reputable that the new BoC album will be dedicated to the muslim religon and the old laws it practices.

Hey, good idea. Last time someone made up a lot of BS about being "in the know" and making up stuff about an upcoming BoC tour, MDG opened his mouth to dispute it, almost immediately.
If we make up a bunch of false garbage about the new album then MDG will call us out as liars. Then, by process of elimination we will have all the info we need on the new album. GENIUS!

I heard the album will be called Summer Eleven, and the track names will be backwards numbers

Yeah, I read that in NME recently. Also that they are working with Rebecca Black for a super freaky rendition of Friday... yeah, it's called Freaky Friday. Like that movie... and that other movie.

I have it on good authority that they are collaborating with Timbaland on a series of glitch-hop hits, eschewing any kind of studio equipment - totally within Propellerheads Reason.

Seriously, why put up that box if you're not about to release something?

just about sour feelings toward warp/boc..
are they really playing off our emotions and teasing us? i don't know much about the electronica world or of Warp or Bleep, but i get the feeling that we're a pretty small population when it comes to the total group of Warp and Bleep followers. i doubt they're doing stuff just in spite of us (or, in kinder words, intentionally not caring about our excitement).

and, i don't think boards of canada cares as to whether or not they're relevant lol

i, too, am irked at the appearance of the black box without anything even mentioning it though.

I'm serious. It's easy to default to an assumption that musicians would have a positive view of the people who listen to their music, but at this point what's to say that's the case here?

That's why it's taking so long to be released they had to get rid of Osama bin laden and other terrorists because they were afraid of an attack on BOC or Warp HQ. Kinda like that south park episode with Mohammed. of course is this the real reason for delay MDG ?[/quote]

MDG is not walking through that door. He's too shamed to come on here because he was wrong about the new album back in 2010. He is Troll #1. He probably makes up rumors just so he can squash them and give himself credibility.

Until MDG comes on here and gives us some legit news, I'm gonna take everything he says with a grain of salt. I don't think he is who he claims to be.

I'm sorry man, but I was hoping I would never see OBL and BOC in the same thread. You kind of shattered my already fragmented world view, buddy. But, if you're gonna do it, do it right. Ahem...

MDG once told me in a secret message that BOC were working with Osama through e-mail to come up with a concept for the next album. Warp was in on this, hence the nuclear explosion on their warp page and the tossing about of New Clear Dawn as an album name. I traded MDG a signed Hannah Montana T-shirt for this information.
