Mathias Aguayo should join the band permanently! His vocal is brilliant on Ice Cream. No idea what he's saying but I don't care!

I like that they have different guests too, it's like this new album is just Battles, a little more upbeat and with different vocalists. Each vocalist bringing something different to Battles.

Saw them play Manchester UK last Saturday on the same bill as Caribou. They played as a 3-piece with guest vocalists appearing on two stage-level 7-foot screens which was a good idea. The sound wasn't very good (often a problem at The Apollo) but still a good gig.

They didn't play any early stuff which was a shame, but understandable without Braxton.
I can't understand why people are frightened of new ideas. I'm frightened of the old ones.

Been guilty of sleeping on this, probably because I never got into the other album. After Youtubing Futura my ears were on full alert by the time I got a few minutes into Africastle I was on the wire to Bleep and now the vinyl is on the way to me.

Wow.

Some of the worst soulless crap I heard in ages! Shame on you warp!

I stoped after track 6 and almost puked literally.
