New information: Boards of Canada has been disbanded. The black box is just for symmetry. The Sandisons will only make music for themselves now and never release it to anyone anymore. They feel only themselves can truly understand and appreciate the music they make, and to give it to us would just be a waste of thier time and effort.

They're not that ridiculous. They sought to get signed and release stuff, I don't see any reason they'd suddenly get all pretentious and hipster about it.

BoC just doesn't want us to hear the new album. If true, well that is just shitty.

This is really getting sad, not waiting for BOC or discussing music; but the insults and bickering and mocking, brothers sisters unite chill out and go make a tea, coffee chai, a beer whatever, put on some relaxing music (side note if you put on BOC and it makes you impatient, put on something that chills you out) smoke a fatty and float away. Or better yet start yoga or meditation, centre one's self in the now and then go for a bike ride to your locally owned organic grocer get involved with a community garden or get involved teaching kids about music,art,photography, biking etc etc

And then when you least expect it it will be here and you can share it with all your new groovy friends.

I am planning on a biking tour of the southern Island in New Zealand at the end of the year its super cheap to get there from Melbourne and I hope to do a lot of WWOOF when I am there. I also hope I will get to meet one of the brothers. If I do I will give him a pat on the back (probably more like a creepy fan hug)offer him a spliff, smoke the spliff then continue on my way with a massive grin...... and in answer to roygbivman's question I don't know what is a bowlc?
