If this new album is literally as all consuming as some people are making out.. then i think some of you need to find some other things to occupy the gap.

Basinski: I wanted Cascade to become this crystalline organism like a star or a liquid crystal spaceship, a jellyfish traveling through the galaxy…

Yeah, I've been trying that. Been listening to Little Joy a lot.

Good shit. Plus the 3DS version of Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time just came out, so I'm not really spending too much time listening to BoC.

portishead made me wait ten years, it was pretty much worth it.

but yep, this is stupid. it's why i thought the twitter feed was a much better idea than coming here (when it's in use and no one's dying). all i have learned since i stopped lurking and started posting is how to be written off and how to write other people off, that's it and it's not even lurk-worthy. noone who does anything important is reading this crap esp this post. may as well shout into a deep dark hole and convince yourself it's looking back into your soul. they advised us to "wake up" and we did this instead. do any of us even have the sense to feel stupid about this? it's time to take a long walk. outside.

What?!

This thread was never serious, and your wrong, no one should feel stupid. Its just a few people having a laugh about a common subject we like. Nothing more nothing less. If you are thinking too hard about what this thread represents then by your own advice, you need to take a long walk.

Auw, That hurts. You wrote me off. How can I enjoy long walks if they make me think of this post from now on.

Zoetrope... a Masterpiece, as the three other songs on this favorite BOC release for me. This is the only CD that I can play several times in a row. I have long imagined what could have been a complete album from this period.

i'm just buying aphex twin and autechre's back catalog. now THAT helps.

but job helps paying for that, so i'm guessing BOTH are the best option.
