I'm pretty sure I've seen 2 or 3 topics about them already, but yeah, they're good.

Yeah it's probably my bad with the whole re-posting old shit; but I'm not exactly on every day. I just figured I'd throw something out there that I'm particularly fond of at this very moment, although the redundancy might precede me.

Gave them a few shots, couldn't stand them, made me feel claustrophobic.

Haha I can absolutely see that. Their music is very noisy and overwhelming.

Ive listened to a few tunes on youtube... I liked this one -->

I found the video pretty amusing in a subtle kind of way.

Still not sure if id buy an album though, if I have money to spare anytime soon I might take a punt.

I love BMSR and Tobacco. Tom Fec seems kind of like a dick sometimes, but I admire him nonetheless.

For people of this forum, I would recommend Tobacco over Black Moth.

Some favorites:

Add me to this list. I prefer Tobacco over BMSR any day. Not saying the whole lot of 'em together is bad. I just prefer the crunchy, swelling hip-hop goodness.

I favor Magic Window over either artist.

I hear ya. Magic Window really has endless replay value - something which most music has yet to achieve.

I listen to them every now and then but I can get a little irritated by the robot-voice they like to use frequently. I think that many of their songs would have been better off without it.
Still, "Twin Of My Self" is one of my favourite songs, I always feel hopeful and happy when I listen to it.

I enjoy BMSR more than Tobacco, Tobacco's too angular and odd to get into, the songs don't engage me through out the whole song, plus that vocoder, nuh uh..
BMSR songs have the texture of real instruments, and the vocals aren't as offensive as in Tobacco.

They are awesome. I own Eating Us and Dandelion Gum and Tobaccos's Fucked Up Friends as vinyl. Get the Extra Flavor which was released recently! 8)
