lol I saw a video of a guy just standing around looking over his shoulder a couple of times, and then decides to tip over a trashcan and walks away rofl. They should just enlist some americans with guns to go over in the country and bring it back to order. :P

Fairly well actually - America has not had an attack on its own soil for quite some time. Plus Osama Bin Dead now.

I agree. Guns are excellent for deterring rioters, you don't even have to load them. We should go over to the UK and stop the rioters ourselves and once that's done we'd give the UK a lecture. They'd hang their heads and twiddle their thumbs while we say "Now, see what you've done? Look at yourselves, carrying on like children. We expect more of you. I hope you've learned something today. Now, off you go, back to work!".

I don't think this fire at the warehouse is in any way shape or form some kind of news, hint, etc. for a new BoC album.

Well someone linked the warp newspost through both their facebook and twitter. Admittedly that's not really saying anything, but it's not impossible.

Me either.

And quite frankly, who cares who updated their site(s). I got the exact same message from the warpbot twitter that I did from the boctransmission twitter. From One Source All Tweets Originate. Besides, I'm not buying shit from Warp until there is some REAL news on when this fucking thing is coming out.

I'm not sure whether it's worth it to get started absolutely schooling you here or to maintain my stance as a civilized contributor to a board that tends to be fairly non-nationalistic, neutral and peaceful.

Good thing this isn't 4chan.

Agreed, All the labels, Ninja Tune, Rough Trade etc have been issuing similar statements. No hint at all, but it is bad news.

About the only hints you can take from it is in the Warp statement about what they lost
Forthcoming albums - CANT's 'Dreams Come True' (Sep 12th), Plaid's 'Scintilli' (Sept 26th) and Rustie's 'Glass Swords' (Oct 10th) - are currently being manufactured. We know PIAS are working hard to get alternative distribution in place and we are hopeful that the release dates of these albums will not be affected. Most UK copies of Battles' new single 'My Machines' have been destroyed, although the single will still be released digitally on Monday - with some limited 12inch stock available at Bleep
So, stuff in that warehouse was stuff that was either back catalog or stuff that was due for imminent release (Battles). Makes sense: it's a distributor. The Plaid, CANT and Rustie releases are in manufacturing and if they had done a drop to the warehouse they have enough time to go out unaffected through a different channel.

No mention of BoC in that list. Unless they had pressed a bunch of BoC stuff to do a secret, sudden release in the next couple of weeks (highly f unlikely) it wouldn't have been in the fire. So it's either in pressing at the moment (and they've just not mentioned it, because it's not been announced), or is scheduled for some point after the Plaid release, because the Plaid album, in Warp terms, is pretty huge so you can guess they want to get a good chunk of it out of the way before they move onto anything else. My guess is firmly on the latter, just on balance of probability.

Upshot: any new BoC was very likely not imminent for release, is most probably coming some time no earlier than the beginning of October AT LEAST, cos of everything else they have to get out the way first. Also, whatever the planned release date is, it most probably won't be delayed by the fire as they can sort out alternative distribution in the mean time.

All the non-rioters need to do something about the rioters right now. Your shitty "police force" just isnt cutting it. People that are pissed at these hooligans destroying shit need to get everyone together and use some extreme fuckin force on these assholes!

Good thing this isn't 4chan.
You say you will school me, but I don't think you can. I am up for a challenge :) Then again, do you really want to get into a political debate on this forum? Also keep in mind I was not the one who brought up the middle east, I just simply was trying to say if england had some firepower behind them people would be able to defend themselves easier, but I guess that can be debated too can it not?

Also 4chan is a terrible site, full of perverts and pedofiles imho. So you're right, good thing this isn't 4 chan because I would have to destroy my computer and sanitize my brain from all the messed up shit they post.

LoL at all you Americans schooling us on the moral rights and wrongs of the UK.

Are you living in cuckoo land? Take a long, hard look at the shitholes in your own country before casting judgement upon us. Whatever is wrong in our country you can X 10,000 in yours.

End of.
