Nice. I enjoyed that

If I can be picky for a moment though, the promo isn't an LP. It's not a 'Long Player' but a promotional 12" for the actual LP.

Is your Geogaddi Promo the one that was available from the web, or the more rare 180g version that they gave out in the private Geogaddi pre-release listening parties?

You can tell this by looking at the etching near the label
  • WARPLP 101 P = more rare
    WARP LP 101 P = more common
In any case, interesting blog post.

Good call, I'll probably change that. Thanks for the compliment.

I have the WARPLP 101 P, more rare one. This is an interesting sidenote, I'm going to add it.

Reading this blog got me thinking. I believe my vinyl copy of Geogaddi is probably my favorite 'thing' or object in the World. Forgetting the music for a second - as a physical object it's just beautiful. Everything about it is magical and reminds me of one of the reasons why vinyl is so exciting.

Seriously, if you've not dipped into the world of vinyl records yet, this one really is worth the money in my opinion.

Yeah dude I'm considering buying the Geogaddi. 80 euros is a pain in the ass though. I have MHTRTC, IABOITC,TCH, Twoism and Hi Scores. Good to know that there is actually more rare and not so rare print of this vinyl. Gonna get the more rare for sure!

Remember it's the Geogaddi PROMO we're talking about here, the actual album has only one pressing (aside from test pressing and whitelabel).

Geogaddi is definitely worth the buy. Such a beautiful press, epic in every way. It's a cornerstone of my collection.

So someone placed a bid of $129.99 on ebay for a Geogaddi on vinyl. So we can up the value of our Geogaddi vinyls. Crazy how much it has gone up. I could never sell mine though as you stated it's such a beautiful piece.

Is this the highest it's ever gone for?

I wouldn't want that for free, even if I didn't have it already :).

Haha, I know. It's sad too look at... I guess it was played a lot! I know the weight of side A-D puts stress on the spine, but wow.
