Underworld
I love Underworld. I love them more than BoC.
Who else likes them? I think their discography is near flawless.
Some favorite tracks:
MMM, Skyscraper I Love You
Banstyle/Sappy's Curry
Dirty Epic
River of Bass
Tongue
Jumbo
Stagger
Dark and Long
Their long journey-like tracks just take me to strange places that can't be tied to reality. It's something you have to experience by listening.

The album Dubnobasswithmyheadman

It's their first album (in Underworld's current form).
Excellent to the very last drop.
I guarantee that you'll get absolutely lost in that album.

I was surprised that I had to make a thread about them.
Dinosaur Adventure 3D is also one of my favorites.
To anyone who wants to get into Underworld, just go through their discography in order one-at-a-time.
Also, little tidbit: Anyone heard of Freur? This is the (3rd I think?) phase of that band.

Ah yeah! Pearl's Girl is awesome. I think my most played album by them is the live album 'Everything Everything'. Memories of some amazing nights with friends dancing and flying the most incredible interactive lights/visuals.rolypablo wrote:Liking two albums just now, dubnobassinmyheadman and the one after that... love the tune, pearlgirl (or something like that?)
There are a few bands that just either disappeared and changed names like fruer/underworld or just kept the name and just totally changed styles like Ministry. I think Talk Talk was remarkable all the way through though their style changed considerably. Man those guys were extremely talented musicians. The keyboardist Tim Friese Green just blows my mind.asymmetrical head wrote:I think Second Toughest and Beaucoupe Fish are my favorites. I remember Freur from my teen days and used to feel all snooty whenever I'd bring them up in an Underworld conversation
