Great song. MBV is amazing! I am also a collector of their albums as well as boc's.

Me too. What is impressive with this song is that the synth like melody is a guitar. Soothing...

both shields and madonna borrowed that loop from public enemy (but shields did it first.)

You guys need to get "Tremolo" by MBV too. The interludes in between the tracks are really nice!

i recently found that mbv site as well (via wikipedia iirc)... the two instrumentals which are bonus tracks on loveless are pretty amazing. an awful lot of loveless has a lot in common with, especially, geogaddi, i think,

i found with buying loveless first going back to say "isnt anything" or some of the older tunes you find it kinda rough as in recording and not really as revered as some techniques on loveless...although isnt anything has grown on me i still suggest buying it but give it time...eventually you will get all the old EPs and full lengths like myself... :D

Yes they are as good! Try "Isn't Anything", "Tremolo", "Glider", "You Made Me Realise", "Feed Me With Your Kiss", "Ecstacy and Whine". All great albums.

shit. i knew that.

the funny thing is, in that interview with him (i think it was in '92), he spoke as if he had created that loop.

totally agree. i was very disappointed with their debut though (this is your bloody valentine). it's not just unpolished, it's rubbish.
